Lubie® #6

A pure synthetic oil lubricant that will not get gummy or burn on the blade. Lubie® #6 is designed to lubricate, cool and retard resin and pitch build-up on band saw blades, circular saw blades and other wood tooling.

Lubie® #6 provides over twice the lubricating strength of diesel fuel or vegetable oils. Many mills use Lubie® #6 to lubricate the headrig ways and carriage wheels and rails. Lubie® #6 replaces diesel fuel in wick systems on headrigs and line bar resaws. Mills running a 12" blade wil use 1/4 to 1/2 gallon of Lubie® #6 per day, and will find the cost equal to diesel fuel while eliminating the fire hazard, personal safety and odor problems of diesel.

  • Lubie® #6 is low cost, odorless, not a skin irritant, non toxic, biodegradable, and is environmentally friendly.
  • It does not contain any chemicals listed in SARA Title III, Section 313 or in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.
  • Lubie® #6 does not contain silicones and will not stain or discolor wood.

Lubie® #6 is most effectively applied through Lubie® 900 spray systems which give the ultimate in application and volume adjustment. Wick, drip and other spray systems run Lubie® #6 effectively.
