Lubie Lube Grinding & Cutting Oil #704

A pure, low viscosity synthetic and ester oil grinding coolant fortified with lubricating agents for both carbide and tool steel grinding. Lubie® #704 will not leach cobalt from carbide.

Lubie® 704 is a straight oil and is not diluted with water. For most economical use we suggest you have a good filtration system. If the grinding fines are removed from the solution Lubie® 704 can be used indefinitely; simply add more Lubie® 704 to replace the used coolant.

We recommend that you decrease your grinding wheel grit by one step, for example from an 80 to a 100, and that you go one step lower in softness. This will give maximum wheel life and a fine surface finish at the same metal removal rate.

Lubie® 704 is non-toxic, biodegradable and non-irritating and has FDA approval. It does not contain any chemicals listed in SARA Title III, Section 313 or in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.
